    Best cheese scone in Wellington. Beautiful crispy outside with a pillow-like inside. The cheesy flavour is strong and upfront but without upsetting the balance of the scone. Pravda sets the standard for what a cheese scone can be.

    Finding Starta was like finding a secret place in Wellington, so the atmosphere was great. In terms of the scone itself it was very good, and I will definitely go there. The best part was how they toasted it. It was very crispy and warm.

    The pickles go very nicely with the scone, and makes me wonder what other sides would complement as connect. (pickled onions perhaps?) Unfortunately the scone itself wasn't of the highest calibre, but was still satisfying and did not disappoint.

    Very well toasted, nice and cheesy. They added bit of spring onions to cheese scone which was a good match with cheese flavour. Not only I enjoyed the scone, but also the atmosphere of the cafe and coffee was pretty awesome. That truly made my day. They also had some hot sauces that you can put on the scones.

    I was very looking forward to try a cheese scone from here cause I've heard lots of good stories about this place. It was good, and very crispy outside. Not cheesy though. I'll definitely go there again, but it wasn't very special.

    It was not a bad scone but tasted quite similar with the scone from Legato Espresso Cafe. I guess maybe a lot of scones are made from the same bakery?
